Company Overview
SHAC is a
registered charity and as such is a non-profit making organisation.
Since we do not aim to make a profit we can keep our rents at affordable
levels thus making high quality accommodation available to all. We have
accommodation available over wide geographical areas in Northern Ireland such as Belfast,
Newtownabbey, Whiteabbey, Carrickfergus,
Coleraine, Enniskillen
and Derry.
We have about 900 bedspaces available throughout our housing stock and we
hope we would be able to accommodate your
housing needs wherever you wished to live. Please look in the Accommodation page to get a better idea of the
type and location of the housing we provide.
Company Background
SHAC was started in
1977 with the aim of providing affordable accommodation for students and
young people of working age. Since then however, although we still house
students, our spectrum of tenants has widened considerably. There are no
restrictions on who can apply.
